He's dead
He's clinically dead which means his body cannot surive without help and his brain functions are pretty much gone. I bet he was killed from within. Someone inside his gov't took him down.
See, it's too convenient for it not to have been a coup of some sort. The other powers in his group probably want some form of peace and some form of country and he was standing in the way of that. But you can't murder him, it's gotta look like something natural otherwise he's a martyr and folks begin killing in his name.
Benzene poisoning and a few folks to cover it up certainly help. That's my theory.
